As an Appalseed, you will:
assist
small congregations in rural, small town and urban settings
in spreading the gospel
help seminary students prepare for their call in Appalachia
connect church and community groups with resources that
enhance outreach in their neighborhood
utilize regional leaders to encourage growth and innovation
finance projects that would otherwise go unfunded
enable folks in one part of the region to model
effective methods
for others doing similar ministries
stretch resources and promote ideas to meet the ever- growing needs in rural, small town and urban
ministry
join with brothers and sisters in and beyond
Appalachia follow
the Holy Spirit to new ways of caring for one another
be a part of "connecting and enabling God's people for Christ's mission in Appalachia"

is an Appalseed?
Any individual, family or group that supports the
ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Coalition for Mission in Appalachia
(ELCMA) with prayers
and a gift of five dollars
each month
