The Glenn Heasley Award in
Appalachian Ministry

The Glenn Heasley Award for Ministry in Appalachia will be
presented to a pastor or lay person who best exemplifies the traits and love of
ministry in Appalachia that are the legacy of Glenn Heasley.
It is expected that recipients of this award shall;
+
have a life and ministry consistent with Glenn Heasley’s
attributes and values,
+ have served at least 6 years in Appalachian ministry,
+ have served at least 3 years in current site,
+ have been nominated
+ have been recommended by at least 3 persons and their Bishop, and
+ have been selected by the Award
Review Committee.
Award
grants are expected to be $1500.
They may be used for Spiritual, Educational, or
Family renewal projects.
